Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four children, was born on August 8th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. She was encouraged by parents, a dentist and teacher who were both instructors to follow her love for theatre. It was in stark contrast to an earlier desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she was a fan of monkeys. Early success and a rapid growth in popularity made her a promising young actor. After finishing her studies She was a participant in the French talent-scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. She took home the award for The title of the Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her career acting as an actress. Tautou was a student at an Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child as well as attended the school she has renounced her Catholic education. Along with her acting career, she began a modeling career. Also, she is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen passion for photography. She recently produced an exhibition of her photographs at the Arles Festival in France under the title Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on fame and celebrity and concentrates towards the reporters who sat on her in the wake of her rapid popularity as Amelie and self-portraits. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major role in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office hit, receiving accolades at award ceremonies around the world. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to be released in the US. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in many films from British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood by directing Ron Howard of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
