In her long career, she has been a lady who was a singer and composer. She was awarded fifteen Grammys. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins is popularly known in the media as Lady Adkins. She was mainly cast in the senorita role opposite Roy Rogers, in Bells of Rosarita in 1945, and Gene Autry's Twilight on the Rio Grande in 1947.
